Daniel Grell is Senior Pastor at First Evangelical Free Church in Boone, IA. He has served in this position since May 1, 2009. Prior to this he 
served as Lead Pastor of Global and Local Missions at First Evangelical Free Church in Austin, TX. For the last 35 years Daniel has served as either a pastor with the EFCA or a missionary with the EFCA International Mission in the countries of Germany, Austria and England. He and his wife Gloria have five children, ages 15 to 33. The oldest three children are married. They have five grandchildren. 
Daniel and Gloria are graduates of TEDS (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School). Daniel is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America.
