The Book of Genesis is foundational to the evangelical faith.

How did this book get compiled?  Did God give Moses the detailed stories of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jospeh, or was there a written record of their history from other sources?  How and why is Genesis 1:1 the most significant verse in the Bible?  Does the story of creation include allegorical components, or is it to be taken literally?  Is the earth billions of years old, or is it thousands of years old?

These and many other questions will be discussed as we look at the Book of Genesis.  This class is taught by Jon Gustafson in Fellowship Hall

The Books of 1 John and Jude.  Next to studying this class also consists of prayer and fellowship.  It is taught by Dick Blomgren in the Activity Room, lower level.

Word of Promise is a dramatic presentation of the New Testament.  This version is available in either CD or MP3-format and listening is to be quite enjoyable.  After having done a different curriculum for the summer, this group will be picking up again in 1 Corinthians, where they left off in the spring.

This study group meets upstairs, in Room 201, and is led by Paul Plummer.
